Teaching LGBTQ+ Health
Stanford Medicine's Teaching LGBTQ+ Health: A Faculty Development Course for Health Professions Educators helps health educators teach LGBTQ+ clinical topics with confidence. The course is evidence- and practice-based: seven interactive modules—including a glossary, an overview of social and behavioral determinants affecting LGBTQ+ patients, teaching-strategy guidance, and three cases with built-in teaching points—so faculty can fold content into existing curricula. Materials were vetted by medical educators and subject matter experts; authors and actors from the LGBTQ+ community shaped the stories and voices in the modules.
I served as graphic designer and character animator under the creative direction of William Bottini, EdTech.
Selected module graphics and character frames from production. Announcement context and course positioning are summarized in the March 2021 press release (TXT).
